2018 HOLIDAY MINI SESSIONS

Seems a little unreal but it is time again for Holiday Mini Sessions sign ups!

Where: in my studio at 2530 Spring Grove Ave. (who wants to deal with the unpredictable weather in November... not me! That's why I am doing them inside again.)

When: November 10 & 11, 2018

What: Mini Sessions perfect for Christmas cards, updating your family portraits or as gifts for family. Each session will be 20 minutes long, you will receive a minimum of 10 edited digital images for $175. (Non-refundable deposit of $50 due at time of booking. $125 due at time of the session)

THINGS THAT ARE NEW THIS YEAR!

- each session will be 20 minutes long, not 15 or 10 like in the past years!

- I will be doing the sessions alone... I will miss my partner terribly but it will be just more relaxed if we don't photograph 2 families at the same time!

- we are going to raffle off a FREE full session with me! (I will post more info closer to the date but basically you can buy a raffle ticket for $5 and I will select a winner for a free session. All the money from the raffle will be going towards the City Gospel Mission)

SET UPS

Now let's talk about the set up!

I will have again 3 set ups this year.

FIRST: I will be building a "gift wall" like the one below. This will be a real fun backdrop, with some color and just very unique!

SECOND:  

will be on our large white wall (like last years) but instead of a mantle I will be setting up with a white piano and beautiful holiday decorations. Pictures below are just for inspiration. I will be sharing photos from this set up closer to the mini session dates.

THIRD:

a minimalistic set up. a black drop with "snow". Almost like the one below.... This set up is more for kids but I am sure we can add parents to the mix if you want some really fun shots!

Rye's in Home One Year Session - Cincinnati Photographer

I can't believe this little girl is already one! Check out her Newborn session HERE

We had to move her one year session from Washington Park indoors due to weather but it turned out to be perfect! And I love the continuity from her Newborn session.

The session basically consisted in Rylan playing and snuggling with her parents and I did my thing... Honestly it doesn't get easier and if you have a home with great natural light I highly recommend a session in your home.

Bella & Zackary - Cincinnati Child Photographer

Let's start of with HOW ADORABLE ARE THESE TWO??? OMG those little Hanna Anderson deer hoodies are so cute!

And usually Bella is the shy one but she really came out of her shell for this session and it was adorable to watch her personality shine!

That 4th picture from the top is my favorite! And yours?

And of course the whole session wasn't about the Hanna Anderson hoodies but we also added Family pictures to the mix!

Fresh 48 Session - Cincinnati Photographer

Benjamin's parents booked the Fresh 48 and Newborn session package with me. One of my favorite packages that I offer!

Benjamin was born at St Elizabeth in Kentucky. As soon as I walked into that hospital room for the Fresh 48 session, I could tell how much this baby is loved for! Grandparents hovering over him with a proud dad holding him.

Look at his eyes! I have never seen a baby so alert after being born! Looks like someone loves his fingers! Absolutely loved this session!

Benjamin's Newborn Studio Session - Cincinnati Newborn Photographer

Benjamin did so amazing... I am really getting spoiled with all of these easy babies! I got his personalized hat from MY CHARMING KIDS CO. as a presents for his parents.

I love doing newborn pictures in my studio. The lighting in here is so amazing!

Of course after we are done taking yummy sleepy pictures of baby, we take pictures of Benjamin with his parents.

Florida Trip - St. Augustine

St. Augustine was our last (and shortest) stop on our Florida trip!

Picture below is us getting ready to leave our Airbnb near Miami.

We toured the Castillo de san Marcos and Finn collected another stamp and Junior Ranger badge... that makes 17 I think?!

We also got a pretty cool demonstration on firing the canons. The fort was really cool. All made out of sand and shells or known as coquina. And 95% of the fort is still original!!! You guys that means 95% of the fort is over 315 years old! That's pretty impressive.

We spent a few more hours walking around St. Augustine and having lunch. It really is gorgeous town and I definitley want to make this a longer stop in our future. But Christmas break was almost over and school starts again. Plus we still had a VERY long drive home.

And remember from my previous post that we had a chicken thing going on... here are some random chickens at a gas station in Georgia.

We arrived safe and sound at home... Taking three kayaks all the way down to Florida and back, driving around with them in Miami and going through (what seemed like a million) toll booths was no big deal and we will definiteley take them again!

Maternity Studio Photography Session

I am so excited to share this Maternity session with you! And I can't wait for this baby boy to be born and photograph his Newborn session in April! I have so many favorites of this session that I just couldn't narrow them down!

Aaaaand of course big Brother Lyndon got to be in the spot light! He did so great and what a great listener for his age! That little curl on the top pf his head.... swoon! I can't decide which one is my favorite. What do you think?

Liam's Studio Newborn Session - Cincinnati Newborn Photographer

My 3rd Newborn session in a row that finished up in 1.5 hours or less!!! Go Liam! Liam at 7 days old was super sleepy but it helped that he had his belly full with milk and a VERY warm studio. Liam also was a pro at giving me some great smiles!

And so many great black and white ones from this session! I can't decide if I like color or b/w better. What do you think?

And of course we had to get pictures with Liam and his Mom and Dad! The three of them are adorable!
