I love lifestyle newborn sessions. It just a natural type of session… The flow is very natural. You snuggle the baby, feed the baby, more baby snuggles and on repeat! Judah did a great job doing all the above!

I can't believe I haven't posted Charlotte's in home Newborn session yet. Such a special session as her two big doggie siblings were present for the session.
So much I love about this session... But Charlotte on the beautiful green couch with her very large doggie brother, her Dad holding her in his favorite chair and of course the details in her amazing nursery, are probably my favorites.
In Home sessions are amazing because they have a very personal touch! Something you can't get in the studio! BUT there are drawbacks to in home sessions as well...
1. I need good natural light! That doesn't mean turning on every lamp in the house. I need lots of windows with good lighting during the session.
2. I can't possibly bring all of my props, blankets, beanbag, lighting kit, backdrop stand etc. So a in home session is usually more natural, non posing pictures
3. I need lot's of room for all of the things that I listed in #2.
If you don't think you have all of these 3 items listed but are really wanting a in home newborn session, contact me and we will talk everything over!
If you are really wanting more posed baby pictures like Emery's studio session (click HERE to see these) than I would highly suggest doing them in my studio.
Charlotte's in home session was perfect! We had perfect lighting and lot's of room plus her parents were really looking for a more natural type of session.

They key to a great in home session is amazing light, adorable baby, cute older sister and good looking parents! I am just kidding... all the above helps but the lighting would be the most important element. Luckily this family had amazing natural light in their home and the session was a breeze!

This sweet family moved from Texas and welcomed their 4th child all in a span of a few months. Obviously with so many small siblings running around we decided to do a in home Newborn session. I am sure every photographer says this, but I truly love kids and other peoples kids running around me makes me extremely happy. This was one fun session! Madelina (how gorgeous is that name?) was typical 4th child... content! Obviously a lot of the pictures involved proud older siblings!

Rylan's parents asked me to photograph her Newborn session in their gorgeous newly renovated home in Over-the-Rhine.

Rylan is named after the Rye Whiskey. A pretty cool name, especially if your Dad owns the George Remus Whiskey. Of course we had to get a shot with Rylan, her Dad and a bottle of whiskey! Coolest Newborn session ever!

have you ever had that dream, where you can't get somewhere no matter how hard you tried? Yes?! Well, that's how this session started out for me haha a long story that I will spare, but has a great ending. I DID make it to the session and it was ahhhh-mazing!
Joanna was a champ and slept almost through the entire session, only waking up once so I could photograph her beautiful eyes.
